1. 21 Indispensable Qualities of Leadership: Becoming the Leader Others Will Follow – John C. Maxwell

Why do some people consistently inspire others to follow their lead? In this self-improvement book, the author identifies these top traits as character, charisma, commitment, communication, competence, courage, discernment, focus, generosity, initiative, listening, passion, positive attitude, problem-solving, relationships, responsibility, security, self-discipline, servanthood, teachability, and vision.

Maxwell breaks down leadership qualities into easy to understand character qualities. Character is what defines a leader, and these traits are what people of character have. A must-read for leaders in any position.

Having read this book I agree. The very first paragraph is one of the most uplifting things I have read.

10. Think and Grow Rich – Napoleon Hill

This book was published in 1937 after Napoleon had spent 2 decades interviewing all the successful people in the world to discover whether they had habits or things they did in common. They did! This book sets out to unravel the secrets and is as mind-blowing now as it was back then. Many successful people and entrepreneurs have stated that this book unlocked the door to their success. It has literally inspired more people than any other book in history.

And we are going to add this brand new book into the list.

We are reading it at the moment and it is without a doubt the most influential book we have ever read!

The Greatest Secret – Rhonda Byrne

This book is the long-awaited sequel to the book and film The Secret. The Secret came out in 2006 and was widely acclaimed as THE book to make the law of attraction work for you. It has had many reviews, some good, some bad! Many people tried the strategies and never saw anything happen for them. That was, in my opinion, because the book didn’t go far enough! The Greatest Secret is like The Secret on steroids! It gives you the key to find the answer to what you have needed to unlock everything you have wanted out of life and more. Big statement I know but we are already seeing things appear in our lives since we started reading the book and practising what it teaches. Now, be warned, there are a lot of negative reviews out there but these people obviously just don’t get it!

These are just some of the best self-improvement books of all time which you can check out whenever you want answers to questions you have been keeping inside for too long.

We hope you feel moved to find out more about some of them. They really do make a difference.
